This site is operated by Arisa Mameda (“I”, “me”, “my”). This policy explains what information I collect, why, and what your choices are. If you have any questions, you can reach me at [email protected].

What I collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, and the date you signed up. That’s it. I don’t ask for your name, and I don’t collect anything you don’t hand over yourself.

Automatically, when you visit: like most websites, my hosting and analytics tools may record basic technical information such as your browser type, general location (country or region level), and which pages you view. This is standard, aggregated data used to understand how the site is doing, not to identify you personally.

How I use it

Your email address is used only to send you the newsletter you signed up for: updates on what I’m building, and the occasional note when I release something new. I use double opt-in, which means after you sign up you’ll get one email asking you to confirm. You’re only added to the list once you click that link.

I will never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone. It stays with me.

The tools I use

The newsletter runs on my own website using FluentCRM, and emails are delivered through Amazon SES. Your email address is stored in my site’s database and processed by these tools solely to deliver the newsletter. Analytics, if enabled, may be handled by third-party services that process aggregated visit data.

Embedded content

Some pages include content from other sites (such as an Instagram feed or embedded videos). These behave as if you visited the other site directly, and those sites may collect data about you or set their own cookies. I don’t control what they collect.

Your choices

Unsubscribe anytime. Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you, no questions asked, and I stop emailing you.

Access or deletion. You can ask me what data I hold about you, or ask me to delete it entirely, by emailing [email protected]. I’ll take care of it.

Cookies

This site may use basic cookies to keep it working smoothly and, if analytics is enabled, to understand site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer; the site will still work.

Children

This site and newsletter are intended for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I’ll change the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
